The Sydney Meditation & Wellbeing Meetup Group

A wonderful opportunity to meet other Sydney-siders who practice meditation and/or yoga. We usually meet on the 2nd Friday of the month at Rigpa near Central Station. Here are some of things you should be able to explore with the group: - Keep in touch with the latest Sydney events, festivals & conferences on Buddhism, meditation, yoga and wellness (see Calendar & Photos on left panel). - Experience a silent meditation sitting at a traditional Buddhist centre with others from the meetup. - Catch up over healthy lunches & dinners and enjoy activities such as yoga and walks together. - Have a wise belly laugh over some of the challenges in finding our own authentic path (he he.. see photo on right). - Discuss different techniques, perspectives, teachers and schools. A particular interest in developing secular thinking compatible with science and modern living (see Messages on left panel). You are welcome to host or suggest gatherings of your own for this group! Indeed your contribution is vital to making the group work. Don't forget to start or continue your own regular practice! ~Peace~

The practice is 'shamata' meditation which enhances stability and vividness of awareness
If you arriving early some of us meet beforehand at Gloria Jean's Coffees from around 6.00pm
