Announcing a new event for Women Honoring their Body, Mind, & Spirit!

When: Wednesday, January 23, 12:00 PM

Event fee: USD72.00 pckg of six classes (can be used within 2 months from 1st class)

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Who should come: This event is open to all who are interested in obtaining the multiple benefits yoga has to offer. Yoga is also non-competitive, is something everyone can do and benefit from, whatever your age or background. No previous experience is needed.

Why: Lunch time yoga is perfect for a mid-day rejuvenation of the body, mind, and soul. Feel refreshed, more creative, more focused after a lunch time yoga experience.

Event Description: Yoga is unique in that it works on every aspect of the physical body, building up strength, stamina, toning, flexibility and well as improving the mental body through concentration, awareness and the ability to simply relax and be you!

The lesson will last 1hour.

We will work through a plan which incorporates limbering and Yoga asanas (postures). It will usually end with a 5-10 minute period of relaxation.

We work with the breath throughout the lesson. This may seem difficult to start with, but don?t worry about this, just do what you feel happy with.

Yoga is non-competitive. You do not need to be concerned with what other students can or cannot do, everybody is different. A posture that is easy one day may not be as easy the next.

Listen to your body. Do what you feel comfortable with. Try to do what you can, but never strain the body. If it hurts, stop!

Yoga is not about twisting the body into strange positions. If there is anything you do not wish to do, you don't have to do it!

WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING.

1. Wear clothes that are comfortable and non restricting.

2. Bare feet is normal, (non slip socks could be worn in the winter)

3. If you wear contact lenses, it might be better to bring an old pair of spectacles.

4. Bring a non slip mat - if you have one.

I will lend you a mat for your first lesson in which you may purchase.

5. Also, bring a sweater/sweatshirt or any some extra clothing for when you relax.
* Try to allow at least two hours after a meal before you come to a class (have a light snack if necessary)
