Red Tent Temple - monthly day/night of nurturing for women

Around the country, groups of women are coming together once a month on or near the New Moon, to create a safe, nurturing, healing space by women for women. Here we can take a nap, journal, spend time in quiet thought with a cup of tea, rest our head in a sister's lap, come to bellydance for the women, sing our sacred songs, share our stories, educate and mentor our young daughters and sisters, listen to our elders. This Red Tent Temple is currently being held in Pitman, NJ (email for directions). We are open from 3pm until 10 pm, and women are free to come and go anytime. We have a talking circle together at 7pm, and other times of day are open to the ideas of women who come. This is a free event, with donations lovingly accepted to maintain our meeting space.

3 to 7pm - come anytime, and go as you please. It's okay to come just for an hour in the afternoon, or only for the evening, or come and stay all day. Whatever meets your needs. Drink Tea. Eat chocolate. Read good books. Play with art supplies. Nap. Get reiki. Get advice. Knit. Laugh. Meet new friends - nobody is a stranger here for more than a moment. Read more
