The whole idea is to bounce of ideas off each other and talk about challenges or business in general. Work as a team to find solution or ideas for each other. Brain storming as well as input from different perspectives. For example you could be a lawyer with your own small practice, a trade me seller, owner of a small …

It is the Shambhala view that every human being has a fundamental nature of goodness, warmth and intelligence. This nature can be cultivated through meditation, following ancient principles and it can be further developed in daily life, so that it radiates out. In the course of our lives this goodness, warmth and intelligence can easily become covered over by doubt, fear and egotism. The journey of becoming fully human means seeing through our fear and egotism and waking up to our natural intelli …

The initial reason for setting up this group was to provide a better home for the Social-Movie-Making that started in the Wellington Social Movie Group. This group is for anyone who enjoys that kind of thing, but doesn't want to get too serious about it. Priorities for the group will be 1) Fun 2) maybe learn something (by doing) 3) finish something (but only if the first two priorities are met). I'm hoping we'll be able to do some related stuff as well, such as DIY improv workshops.

A Coding Dojo is a place where programmers come to improve their skills, by following a pattern similar to the martial arts dojo. Patricipants meet for at a pre-arranged time in a room that has one computer attached to a screen. A programming challenge is posed for each session. There are a couple of w …
